Le RAIQ – Regroupement des arts interdisciplinaires du Quebec invite tous les organismes, les artistes et les travailleurs culturels interesses par les pratiques interdisci.plinaires a une rencontre publique qui se tiendra dans le cadre de VASISTAS 2006, le samedi 11 fevrier 2006 au Theatre La Chapelle situe au 3700 rue Saint-Dominique a Montreal, de 14h00 a 17h00.
Cette rencontre publique s’inscrit dans un forum d’une journee organise par le RAIQ. Elle fera suite a un atelier de travail avec les representants des trois conseils des arts soutenant les pratiques interdisciplinaires visant a cerner des enjeux importants lies aux problematiques de la recherche-creation-production et de la diffusion en inter-arts.
C’est dans cette perspective que le milieu veut se doter de bases favorables a l’etablissement d’un plan de developpement de l’inter-art qui soit porteur d’avenir pour les artistes et les organismes impliques dans toutes les spheres du continuum artistique en arts interdisciplinaires.
Le Regroupement des Arts Interdisciplinaires du Quebec oeuvre a regrouper en association les artistes, les groupes et les compagnies en arts interdisciplinaires de tout le Quebec pour assurer leur representation a tous les niveaux. Le RAIQ cherche a promouvoir et a faciliter le developpement de ses membres et des differentes pratiques en art interdisciplinaire, en initiant des activites qui favorisent la recherche et l’experimentation, qu’il s’agisse de colloques, d’etudes, de formation ou de reseautage. L’adhesion au RAIQ sera possible durant la rencontre.
Ce forum se veut une rendez-vous publique ou les artistes, les travailleurs culturels et les organismes qui travaillent en interdisciplinarite se reuniront pour favoriser la reconnaissance et le developpement des arts interdisciplinaires.

Public Meeting
on Inter-Art
The RAIQ . Quebec Interdisciplinary Arts Network invites all organisations, artists and cultural workers interested in interdisciplinary practices to a public meeting held as part of VASISTAS 2006 on Saturday, February 11, 2006, at the Theatre La Chapelle, located at 3700 Saint-Dominique in Montreal, from 2 pm to 5 pm.
This public meeting will take place during a one-day forum organised by the RAIQ and will follow a workshop with representatives of the three arts councils supporting interdisciplinary practices. The meeting will focus on important issues linked to the problems of research-creation-production and dissemination within inter-arts. It’s from this position, that the milieu will establish a development plan for the future of artists and organisations working in all areas of the interdisciplinary arts field.
The Quebec Interdisciplinary Arts Network aims to unite artists, arts organizations and companies working in interdisciplinary arts in Quebec to ensure their representation on all levels. The RAIQ is working to promote and facilitate the development of its members and of different interdisciplinary art practices through activities that promote research and experimentation, such as conferences, studies, training and networking events. It will be possible to become a member of the RAIQ during the meeting.
This meeting will provide a public forum where artists, cultural workers and organisations working in inter-arts can gather to support the development and recognition of interdisciplinary arts.
