Suite à un hiatus prolongé, Four Minutes to Midnight revient avec son treizième numéro, édition affectueusement réalisée faisant place à la typographie et à la poésie, à la photographie et au collage, au design polémique et aux politiques radiales, au papier et à l’encre. Le thème de la publication émerge de l’expérience des éditeurs face à la Grève Étudiante du Québec, sans toutefois s’y attarder spécifiquement, agissant plutôt comme réflexion sur dix ans d’organisation communautaire, de design et de publications, de création musicale et de promenades à travers des quartiers embourgeoisés en opposition au néolibéralisme capitaliste.
Dans cette édition figure l’art visuel, les écrits et le design de divers contributeurs locaux et internationaux, y compris le studio de design néerlandais Experimental Jetset, l’artiste de performance et auteur Jacob Wren, le photographe montréalais Vo Thien Viet, l’écrivaine et éditrice torontoise Hillary Rexe, ainsi que l’artiste et collagiste Madame Gilles.
Four Minutes to Midnight est un fanzine littéraire et artistique expérimental, coédité, conçu et produit par Kevin Yuen-Kit Lo et John W.Stuart. Depuis 2004, le projet explore les intersections entre la typographie, les poétiques et les politiques radicales.

After an extended hiatus, Four Minutes to Midnight returns with its thirteenth issue, a lovingly produced edition of typography and poetics, photography and collage, design polemics and radical politics, paper and ink. Thematically, the issue emerges out of the editors’ experience of the Québec Student Strike, but is not specifically “about” it, acting more as a reflection on 10 years of community organising, designing and publishing, making music, and strolling through gentrifying neighbourhoods in opposition to neoliberal capitalism.
The issue features visual art, writing and design from a diverse host of local and international contributors, including the Dutch design studio Experimental Jetset, performance artist and author Jacob Wren, Montreal photographer Vo Thien Viet, Toronto writer and editor Hillary Rexe, and the Montreal artist and collagist Madame Gilles.
